Ashley Conlin

Owner
IAABC CDBC
IAABC ADT
Fear Free Certified Professional
AKC CGC/Trick Dog Evaluator
Ashley grew up loving animals and nature her entire life. That love and passion influenced her to pursue a Bachelor of Science Degree in Outdoor Recreation and Resource Management with specialties in Animal Behavior and Underwater Science. While completing her degree she began working with dogs both at her local animal shelter as well as a major pet store chain. She found a deep love for animal behavior and helping owners achieve their goals.
After college Ashley pursued her passions in the zoo and aquarium industry and was fortunate to work in multiple countries and states with a wide range of animals. Throughout her career in the zoo field she worked as a private trainer with people’s dogs and was constantly improving by bringing the tips and tricks from the zoo and aquarium field to owners and their pets.
After 13 years working with exotic animals professionally Ashley decided to leave the zoo and aquarium field to work with Alaqua Animal Refuge as a trainer and adoption coordinator. She moved into a new position as the Behavior and Enrichment Manager for the Refuge and developed, then implemented, new programs including K9 Comeback (working with volunteers to behaviorally rehab at risk dogs) and Puppy Preschool (starting puppies with socialization and life skills early). In her time at Alaqua she pursued and achieved certification as a Fear Free trainer as well as an Accredited Dog Trainer through the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC). Shortly after leaving Alaqua she completed her testing and received her Certified Canine Behavior Consultant credentials from IAABC.
As part of her commitment to constantly learning, Ashley attended a seminar that Debbie was teaching. The two quickly realized that they had similar passions in life and a partnership was formed leading to the purchase of Pets Behave LLC and the continuation of educating pets and their owners.

Jenna has been working with dogs from a young age. She loved teaching tricks to her own and family member’s dogs using positive reinforcement and a clicker. This proved to her that not only was clicker training a highly successful method, but so much fun for the dogs and people. To further develop her knowledge and skills Jenna attended the highly acclaimed Karen Pryor Academy and graduated with distinction as a Certified Training Partner in March 2022.
“My passion is helping family dogs build confidence and creating strong relationships between owner and pet with positive training experiences”. She lives with her husband and 2 children and her much loved rescue dog Ruby.
Elizabeth Goodyear

Trainer
BA Experimental Psychology,
Southampton College
Certified ABC Dog Trainer
Elizabeth’s journey into the world of animal behavior began on a farm where she grew up surrounded by horses, dogs, and a deep love for animals. Her passion for marine mammal training developed early, and she pursued it fervently through her education at Southampton College, majoring in Experimental Psychology with an emphasis on marine mammals.
During her college years, Elizabeth worked as a dog trainer at a local shelter, gaining hands-on experience with a variety of breeds. She expanded her expertise further by working with exotic animals in both aquarium and zoo settings, and she trained marine mammals in show facilities, gaining valuable insight into animal communication and behavior.
In 2008, Elizabeth shifted her focus back to dog training and became a certified dog trainer through ABC and apprenticed under Debbie Revell. Over the years, she moved across the country with her active-duty military husband, all while raising two daughters and building her own dog training business. Today, Elizabeth’s unique blend of experience with both marine mammals and domestic animals has made her a skilled and compassionate dog trainer, dedicated to helping pets and their owners develop lasting, positive relationships.
Whether working with her clients’ pets or reflecting on her diverse background, Elizabeth remains deeply passionate about animal behavior and continues to help dogs and their families create harmony through training.
Alyssa Guthrie

Apprentice Trainer
Alyssa grew up traveling all over the country before finally moving to Florida, where she has been for the past 8 years!
During her childhood she also grew up handling German shepherds, which kick started her dog training passion and interest in obedience.
She started growing on that passion by shadowing and learning from other dog trainers in the Navarre and Pensacola area.
In 2022 she took a leap and did something she hadn’t done before, and started competing competitively in rally obedience and conformation with her Rough Collie where she continues to learn more daily.
Vicki Davis

Agility Instructor
In 1995, while living in New York State at the foot of the Catskills, Vicki got her first Pembroke Welsh Corgi. Vicki and her husband needed a dog in a small “package” but wanted the dog to be able to keep up with them on hikes on the nearby mountain trails. “Not only could the Corgi keep up with us, but he literally ran circles around us! He had too much energy.” While trying to find an outlet for this energy Vicki saw a news story in 1997 on a “new fast-growing dog sport”, called Agility. She enrolled the next day in class with her Corgi and started her journey. Vicki has now had 5 Corgi’s and won 71 agility tiles (including 15 championship titles), in various venues. She has run not only Corgis, but also Golden Retrievers, Border Collies, and Shetland Sheepdogs in trials.
Vicki started teaching agility 15 years ago at her old training club in Albany County, NY. She relocated to Florida four years ago and has been teaching at Pets Behave since! She continues to compete with her two Pembroke Welsh Corgis, Kammie and Jolt.
Lisa Graham

Agility Instructor, Trick Dog Instructor
AKC CGC / Trick Dog Evaluator
Fetch Judge
In the early 2000s while living in the West Palm area, Lisa discovered agility through the Obedience Training Club of Palm Beach County. Throughout the following years, Team Graham did not disappoint. Sophie, Riley, Finnegan, Darcy, Pippin and Cassidy were fun and challenging to teach, train and run. Team Graham has earned multiple AKC MACHs, Agility Dog Hall of Fame Honorifics through the Golden Retriever Club of America as well as multiple ATCH titles with the local ASCA club.
While Agility is her thing, Lisa also dabbles in AKC Rally and Obedience but has a great love for Tricks. Riley and Finnegan earned their AKC Rally Novice and Obedience Beginner Novice titles; Darcy, Pippin, Cassidy and young Delaney have earned the AKC Trick Dog Novice and Intermediate titles and Cassidy and Pippin have earned the AKC Trick Dog Advanced, Performer and Elite Performer title (level 5). Lisa enjoys trick so much that she offers an occasional Trick class throughout the year.
For over 25 years if teaching, Lisa has worked with a wide range of breeds and handler skill sets and has taught everything from beginner to advanced/trial preparation classes. She enjoys the challenge of finding the best options for each dog/handler team no matter what their agility aspirations are. Lisa’s approach to teaching is to make sure that in each class, students will learn something new, will improve their existing skills and will be reminded of just how much fun Agility can be.
Lisa teaches Foundations for Agility, Intro to Agility: Jumps and Tunnels, Intro to Agility: Contacts and Weaves, Intro to Agility: Intro to Handling and the Master Drop-In class. Once a month (or so) Lisa offers the very popular Let’s Focus on Friday! Workshops where 6 Teams spend 3 hours working on specific skills. She is also available for private lessons and workshops. If you would like to learn more about Lisa and Meet Team Graham, check out Lisa’s LGA Website here.
