Canine Scent Work

Your dog can be the best smelling dog in the neighborhood!

Canine Scent Work/Nose Work is the newest urban detection-style canine sport designed for all dogs to enjoy. No prior obedience training or athletic skills are required. Canine Scent Work gives dogs a natural outlet for their instinctive behavior, builds confidence, creates focus, and helps burn physical and mental energy. Using some of the same methods used by trainers of official detection dogs, companion dogs will learn to explore with their noses and locate target scents. Owner observation and handling skills will be developed during practice searches. Fun Canine Scent Work is open to dogs of all shapes and sizes. Your dog just needs a nose and a parent to drive him to class.

Progressive Levels offered along with preparation for Canine Scent Work competition in AKC and NACSW.
